Now is the time to plant bulbs such as daffodils, tulips and hyacinths for spring flowers. Below I will give you easy steps for planting to ensure you get the best color in spring in your garden.

Things you need:
- Bulb Planters
- Fertilizer
- Garden Hose
- Spring-flowering Bulbs
- Purchase bulbs of your choice that are appropriate for spring blooms.
- Improve your soil if necessary, by incorporating organic matter. Make sure drainage is good and plant in a sunny location.
- With a shovel or trowel, dig holes the appropriate depth for your bulb type. Consult packaging for correct depth.. A depth of two to three times the width of the bulb is a good rule of thumb.
- Add bulb fertilizer to the bottom of the hole and roughly mix it into the soil.
- Place the bulb in the hole. Make sure you have the right side up (usually point up, roots down).
The bottom of the bulb should rest firmly on the bottom of the hole. - Refill the planting hole, tapping the soil lightly.
- Water the bulbs thoroughly.
