This FREE seminar presented by humor therapist and author Elaine Lundberg will educate, motivate and help anyone concerned with wellness and stress management. Participants should come prepared to laugh and will learn why and how to use positive humor in their life. It's never too late to lighten up! The seminar will be held from 7-8:15 p.m. and will be preceded by a complimentary light supper at 6:30 p.m.

Every February in Montgomery County, MD, Interfaith Works organizes and sponsors Thanksgiving in February, an annual event where over 70 Montgomery County restaurants will join together to support hunger relief by contributing 10, 15 or 20% of their sales for one day. Funds collected are distributed to a coalition of 11 local non-profits who provide emergency food to our hungry neighbors.

Montgomery County to Hold Voter

Registration Drives at Public Libraries

 

Volunteers from the Future Vote Program of the Montgomery County Board of Elections will conduct voter registration drives on Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sundays, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., during January and February at local public libraries according to the following schedule:
