AARP Driver Safety Course Offered on June 20 in Leisure World of Maryland

The E&R Department in Leisure World of MD will sponsor an AARP Safety Driver Course on
Monday, June 20
in Clubhouse I in Leisure World
10:00 am - 3:00 pm
with a 1 hours lunch break

AARP has revised the course; it is now a one-day four-hour course.

You MUST pre-register for the course.
$12 for AARP members
$14 for non-members
(AARP members must show a current membership card to receive the AARP discount.)

Registration will be open at 8:30 am on Tuesday, June 7 at the E&R office in Clubhouse I.
The number of participants is limited to 25.

Participants should bring their driver's license and a pen or pencil to the course.

Hear about the life, career and music of a unique artist, Louis Armstrong.

In the transformation of jazz from a niche genre into American popular music, Satchmo played a pivotal role.  Follow his childhood in New Orleans to his formative years in Chicago and his eventual rise to international superstardom. Recordings, video excerpts and live performances turn up the volume on Armstrong's tremendous impact on 20th century American music. Lecture by Seth Kibel, musician and composer.
