I Have Many Fond Memories of Ice Skating In The Winter Months!
Since I grew up in Massachusetts, I have many fond memories of ice skating when I was young. We had many choices from ice skating rinks to frozen lakes and ponds. The winters in New England were very long and cold and gave the ponds plenty of time to freeze solid. There was always a campfire with marshmallows and sometimes hotdogs and any other foods the kids would bring from home. We used sticks to cook and spent the day out in nature.
