OPEN FOR THE SEASON! Olney Manor Skate Park features 14,400 square feet of skateboarding fun. The 90-foot by 160-foot park features a 10-foot-deep bowl, Hubba ledge, steps with handrail, quarter pipes, Fun Box with flat rail, manual pad, and Pyramid Ledge. The Skate Park is open to skaters (skateboard and inline) of all skill levels, age 6 and up. Hours of Operation & Pricing

Montgomery Parks now operates Olney Manor Skate Park (previously operated by the Montgomery County Department of Recreation).

Olney Manor Skate Park opened for the season on April 1, 2011. Hours of operation vary throughout the spring, summer and fall. Get specific month-to-month calendar schedules for the 2011 Season (April - October)

Each month features special Parent & Child Skates (ages 11 and younger), Adult Skates, and Open Skates (all ages).

Classes & Programs

Summer & Fall Skateboarding Camps & Workshops

Learn or improve your skateboarding skills and have some xtreme fun, too! These camps and workshops are taught by professional instructors from American Inline Skating. Please visit ParkPASS.org for dates and registration information.

Skateboarding, Mini-Dudes

Geared to the youngest skaters (kids 5-7). Learn how to push, ride, track turn, switch turn, ride fakie and make a safe approach to ramps. Class includes instruction and skateboard games.

Skateboarding, Level 1

Extreme fun for beginning skaters! Learn to push, ride, tack turn, switch turn, ride fakie, and make a safe approach to ramps. Class includes both instruction and skateboard games.

Skateboarding, Level 2

Prerequisite: Skateboarding, Level 1 or one year of skateboarding. Kids want air, and parents want down-to-earth instruction. This class is ideal for skateboard riders who want to learn to ride the Olney Manor Skate Park. Learn to olly onto a grind box, drop in, stall, grind, slide and more. Improve your flatland technique, olly kick flip and manual.

Summer Skateboard Workshops

A week-long camp for kids 6-13 who want to learn or improve their skating skills. Learn how to push, ride, tack turn olly, kick flip, grind, stall, drop in, and get air in this workshop.

The Olney Swim Center is located off of Georgia Avenue in Olney Manor Park. Our facility includes a 8-lane, 25-meter pool with separate diving area has 1 and 3-meter diving boards, a shallow warm water free-form leisure pool, two hydrotherapy pools, sauna, weight and exercise room, multi-purpose room, lockers and special changing room. We also have a meeting room perfect for classes, birthday parties, and rentals.

The Olney Swim Center is fully programmed daily and on weekends. There are times available for lap swimming, recreational swimming, water fitness classes, swimming lessons, lifeguard training, water safety and lifeguard instructor courses, CPR and much more! Swim team, dive team and masters swimming are available for reasonable fees.
